Then What?

I've regretfully neglected to update as frequently as I wanted to during the production of Sleepy Hollow. That's a failure on my part. I like to tell myself that I was so busy watching everyone around me be so amazing at what they do that I competely lost track of time.
I won't waste too much of your time, but I will go ahead and confirm that Sleepy Hollow was a huge success! I'm very satisfied with the experience and reaction to it. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. I don't think this will be my last post about Sleepy Hollow.
After the rush of having your first full length play premiere, what comes next?
A whole lot of nothing.
Okay, so not necessarily "nothing", but every day life certainly does change. It's been awhile since I've really even thought about the play. That's been really nice considering the months and months that David and I put into it! It's been great to spend some time free of the Headless Horseman. However, we have prepared the script for regional awards in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. We are very excited and hopeful about that!
Now I just have to make it through finals and we'll see what happens.
Wish me luck.

October!

October is finally here! That means Sleepy Hollow is getting closer and closer by the minute. We've started collecting the props and supplies we need to scare your pants off.

Let The Games Begin!

It's been a crazy couple of weeks for RSU Theatre. Opening weekend of "Original Recipe" went very well and I know we are all very happy with it! You still have a chance to see the shows this weekend at Art on the Hill. 5pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday in the Baird Hall Performance Studio.

Now, on top of wrapping up these plays, we are also kicking Sleepy Hollow production into high gear. We have a cast (mostly) and some really cool designs for the set and costumes. Tomorrow night marks our very first rehearsal!

More on that later!
